A former paddle board racer (“I once paddled around Catalina for a documentary,” she laughs), Whitney and husband Luke get out whenever possible, skiing and biking with their young family. Whitney savors connecting with Parkites while “sharing my love of travel, outdoor recreation, good food, and beautiful places” with visitors. “The locals are the reason travelers come back year after year,” she observes. “They respond to our down-to-earth demeanor and eagerness to welcome them,” an attitude she finds contagious. “Park City is so genuine and welcoming you can’t help but want to give back,” she smiles.

For Whitney, that means leadership. She has been involved with Habitat for Humanity of Summit and Wasatch Counties, Girls on the Run, Project ABC (Art Beauty Culture), Park City Hospital, and the Vail Resorts’ Epic Promise Giving Committee and is currently a member of the Women's Giving Fund. In June, her peers at the Chamber of Commerce elected her to the Board of Directors.

She’s also a busy mom, as she and Luke raise three-year-old Claire and baby Peter. “Park City is ingrained in my life now,” she says with a satisfied air. “I’ve never known a more wonderful, supportive place.”
