Landon credits athletics with helping him develop a goal-focused mindset. “I grew up in Kaysville, and sports were a major part of my life – baseball, basketball, and then football in high school,” he recalls. Being the middle of three boys “made me a competition junky, always looking for new challenges to become a better version of myself.”

“I have a family of my own now - wife Madi, daughter Indy, and son Hayes,” he smiles. Madi is from Heber City, and when a Northwestern Mutual office opened in PC, the Hornes were happy for the chance to be closer to family. “It was an easy sale to me with everything that Park City has to offer,” Landon laughs.

As his family’s PC roots deepen, Landon feels they are among kindred spirits. “Parkites are never complacent, always looking to better themselves and the community,” he observes. “Everyone is striving to have an impact and keep Park City a unique and attractive place for work or recreation.”

That sounds about right to us. We’re thrilled the Horne family and Landon’s Northwestern Mutual colleagues are on our team, making their own impact and shaping a secure future for Park City families.
