Known for creatively bonding with others for mutual success, Suni says, “Flowers By You provides beautiful floral decorating for my shop (on Sagewood in Kimball Junction), and I continue to add locally produced goods.”

Her Wasatch Back story starts with “a very cute boy” she met attending Utah State/Cache Valley. Jay was an Oakley outdoorsman who wanted to settle locally after marriage. “I knew very little about the area, but I took the leap,” she laughs. ”I am lucky that I trusted him, and I’m so blessed we and our six kids can call this place our home.”

Always focused on contributing, Suni has served on the South Summit School District Board as President, stepping down in 2020. “I am interested in how things work and helping our community,” she says. “The School Board was a great learning experience. But I always knew I would try a business. When I started the store, it felt like the right time.”

“There is a desire to help your neighbor and lift others,” she says of her Park City business experience. “I love the generosity that permeates our community.” Those who encounter Suni in the cheerful ambiance of Park City Gift and Gourmet would agree that description most aptly applies to Suni herself.
