“I caught the entrepreneurial spirit from my parents,” he says. “My dad owned a butcher shop, deli and catering facility, so I watched him work for himself.” Stan and associates created CooperWynn in 2012. “I feel like I haven’t ‘gone to work’ since then,” he smiles. “I enjoy everything about the hospitality industry.”
In the community, Stan and Whitney give back with strategic donations and sponsorships, “even creating our own events, such as Newpark Miles and The Hotel Half,” Stan says. He also serves as President of the Park City Area Lodging Association.
“In 14 years here, I have learned people live in Park City because of their strong desire to be here, and it shows in the friendliness and culture,” Stan observes, noting many past associates live in NY and California by necessity. “Parkites want to be here and work hard to stay.”
Of life in Park City, “We remain driven by the outdoors,” he says. “ Our family of five - six with the golden retriever – are outside as often as possible, skiing, golfing, biking.” And helping. Stan and family live the Park City ethos of work hard, play hard, love life, and give back. We appreciate them!
