A former competitive ski jumper, Stephen transformed dismay into action. Within 24 hours, he had insurance people, salvage companies and cleanup crews on site. "We had to replace all the electrical, sheetrock and drywall," he recounts. "We reground the concrete floor, polished it and re-acid washed." He replaced his father's bar with "a masterpiece built by our friend Steve at Duff’s Steel and Timber. It took five months. We installed it right after we reopened on September 2."

As he rebuilt, Stephen brought his five-star hospitality background, which he honed in venues as far-flung as New Zealand, to the fore. "We elevated the entire look, feel, and experience of oTc to match our best hotels and restaurants," he enthuses. "Old Town Cellars is just tapping its full potential, and I want to see it to fruition."

Open every day at 2 p.m., "We offer wine flights paired with artisanal cheeses from Gold Creek Farms, chocolate truffles from HoneyB's, and charcuterie featuring meats from Beltex in Salt Lake. We're rehiring servers and a bar/lounge manager, too," Stephen says. "Resumes accepted at stephen@oldtowncellars.com.”

"We wouldn't be here without our guests and longtime supporters," Stephen reflects. "I'm so grateful for the reception since we've reopened.”

Welcome back, oTc! We’re grateful that Chamber partners like Stephen never give up on their dreams or their town.  Stop in today!
