Chris helped open Montage Deer Valley as Director of Catering and Conference Services, reconnecting with old friend Christopher Hamaway, now with Montage International. The camaraderie he found here attracted him to community service. "Parkites embrace many causes," he notes. "I learned so much in the early years, and now at the Pendry, I always look for ways we can be great community stewards."

"The people who live in our mountain town are different," he observes. "They want to be here, to be outdoors. They embrace the long winters and enjoy everything."

At home with their two rescue Newfoundlands, Chris and Amanda are excited about upcoming graduations as their daughter finishes a University of Utah graduate program and their son completes his JMU undergrad. Amanda teaches at Parkside Elementary, and Chris continues expanding his community presence. Recently elected to the Chamber board, he says he is eyeing the next Park City Leadership program. “Class 31, here I come,“ he laughs. "I am really looking forward to what the next ten years will bring.”
