An irksome detail noted while home-hunting inspired area native and multiple business owner Whitney Diamond's latest enterprise. "In all these high-end homes, I'd see a bug on a window or the way dust shows in sunlight," she remembers. "It was all I could focus on!" Show Home Clean was born. "We handle open houses, second homes, vacation rentals, or final cleaning for contractors so that people focus on the quality of the homes," she says.
Whitney prioritizes engaging workers from her other businesses at Show Home Clean, keeping them employed year-round. "My mom was a business owner," she says of her enterprising spirit. "We grew up in Heber, but as high schoolers, we were always in Park City to ski. I valued how diverging cultures here come together in a love for the outdoors and learning."
Whitney's design flair provides an expert touch as her "dedicated group of gals" decorate client homes with seasonal décor while deep cleaning, re-stocking home supplies, providing laundry service and other valuable amenities. She partners with another company to add exterior work and job site cleanup. Expanding Show Home Clean services while keeping multiple enterprises running is just second nature, she says. "I love business!"
And horses. Whitney is a barrel racer with the Women's Professional Rodeo Association, an avocation that keeps her on the professional rodeo circuit each summer. Her broad range of interests don't stop there. "I love to study the history of other places, then travel," she says. She and her family are passionate explorers, hitting the hiking trails from the Wasatch Back to Lake Powell.
Being from the area, Whitney is committed to exacting standards. "I know Park City is exceptional, welcoming and also has high expectations and a high bar," she observes. "I love being part of it, enjoying business, friends, family and neighbors - and always praying for snow!"
