Relatively new to Park City, Idaho native Logan Jones-Olson and Utah Valley’s Kristen Roscher experienced the Mountainkind vibe immediately. “We are incredibly grateful for the warm welcome,” enthuses Logan, co-owner of recently opened Upgrade Labs on Market Street. “The support from local businesses, the Chamber, and our members has been incredible.”
Founded by NY Times bestselling science author Dave Asprey, Upgrade Labs brings Asprey’s ‘biohacking’ methods to Parkites looking for a “more energized, stronger, sharper life and mindset,” Logan says, employing technologies like metabolic trainers and 360-degree lymphatic detox massage, “the Big Squeeze,” he laughs.
Park City is an excellent match for Kristen and Logan’s balanced lifestyle and growing family, “the perfect place to raise amazing, healthy, and kind kids, our number one priority,” Logan says. They still marvel at their first inadvertent meeting seven years ago. Though they ‘met’ on a dating app, “we never set up a date,” Logan recalls. “But then we bumped into each other in person by accident! It was truly love at first sight.”
Logan’s initial connection with Upgrade Labs was less lighthearted; an accident had left him without the use of his thumb and forefinger. Surgeries and months of therapy failed to improve his condition, but Dave Asprey’s program helped him regain movement in just a few weeks, “a testament to the power of advanced technologies,” he avers.
After working in online ventures and property rental, the couple find “the brick-and-mortar experience” of helping people in person each day deeply satisfying. “It is thrilling to work directly with members and have an opportunity to contribute recovery and performance modalities in a place that values wellness and vitality,” Logan states.
“Park City now has a special place in our lives,” he smiles. “We’re motivated to help Parkites keep doing the good things you are doing for health and longevity, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!”
