It was a balmy morning. The air was fresh, and the sky was clear. Stein Eriksen Lodge was done to the nines as usual. And sitting at a high-up-there 8,100’ elevation, the views of the surrounding mountains were beautiful. It was a perfect time to get the community together to celebrate the coming high season in Park City!
The annual Tourism Fall Forum is one of the Chamber's marquee events. Landing right before the holidays, it’s meant to rev up the community before the winter flies in Park City.
Aside from the familiar ski town banter (“What are you skiing on this year?”) there is business to be had (we are the Chamber after all). Park City is a special place where change is made intentionally to responsibly manage growth and tackle challenges head on.
Chamber CEO Jennifer Wesselhof takes the stage first, welcoming attendees and setting the tone for a fun, airy event and highlights a list of ideas and prerogatives that the Chamber staff will take on to support the Park City community and welcome guests to our mountain town. A range of speakers take the dais after her, exploring visitor data and trends, economic information, and the potential snowpack for our area.
This year we changed things up a bit. Instead of the usual panel of resort leaders, we focused on the excitement of the season by bringing fresh perspectives and energy to kick off winter! Check out the video below!
Thank You Park City
If you attended this year’s Tourism Fall Forum, we hope you felt the same energy we did going into the ski season! To join us next year, keep an eye on our calendar and join our newsletter for the most up-to-date information about the Chamber and the Park City community. And a special thank you to the Stein Eriksen Lodge for letting us use their incredible event space and to Summit Events for helping us pull this thing off!
