The family moved here for good in 2024, looking for a lifestyle of rooted flexibility.  Mountain Berry Bowls was the key, growing from Patrick’s friendship with MBB founder Jared Lynch in Montana. “When I picked up our truck in Whitefish last summer, it was almost 20 years to the day that we met,” he recalls. MBB now operates in five western states.

 

Patrick calls his young employees his favorite part of the job. Even though he gets teased about his “old man” habits (“I learned using a dash in texts is a no-no!”) he praises their work ethic and kindness. “Treating employees like family is one of the keys to our success,” he avers. Jamie runs behind-the-scenes operations while Calvin and Juniper are also part of the mix  – 10-year-old Calvin even earned a food-handler’s permit so he could help prep.

 

Mountain Berry Bowls are fresh and deliciously simple. Gluten-free, dairy-free acai bowls layered with fresh fruit, house granola, and superfood toppings, they also have tons of eye appeal. “Our Instagram photos  @Mbbparkcity aren’t staged,” Patrick smiles. “That’s exactly what we send out every day.” 

 

Opening in mid-May, Jamie and family are delighted with our tight-knit, health focused community. “I feel like we found our people,” Patrick says with satisfaction, “If we keep putting community and integrity first, we will continue to grow.”
