He may be a new resident, but Peter Breslow’s Park City story goes back more than 20 years, when his wife surprised the family with a ski vacation. “Back then, you could use your boarding pass for a complimentary lift ticket,” he smiles. “Genius-level marketing!”
He has since brought his family and Peter Breslow Public Relations to town, along with his curiosity, ebullience, and community spirit. “The business climate is super friendly and professional,” he observes. “There is a ton of potential for even more business collaboration.” Peter walks the walk, already serving on the Live Like Sam Advisory Board. “I am amazed at how much good they do,” he marvels.
Of his Philadelphia background as the son of legendary publicist Tina Breslow, “I was literally born into PR,” Peter says. “I love being a part of the creative process.” He strategizes, edits, monitors video and photo shoots, and spends hours on social media, often running 12-15 hours a day. “I try to wind down on weekends, but I am still answering texts and calls.”
And not just for big clients. Peter loves helping small companies with tiny budgets achieve public awareness. “People think PR is super expensive, but I encourage anyone who thinks they don’t have enough budget to contact me. They will find out we are the ‘anti-agency agency.’ We don’t even ask clients to sign a contract.”
An avowed foodie—“a 12 on a scale of 1-10” —Peter’s clients have won seven James Beard Awards, and his mom is famous for bringing the national spotlight to Philadelphia’s culinary scene. “We have caviar, truffles, foie gras, lobster, uni, and Wagyu here, though I still go for tacos, burgers, BBQ, falafel, or pizza, so I work out every day,” he laughs. He believes PC has room for more New York-style pizza places.
Still settling in, Peter already embraces the Mountainkind engagement style that sets Parkites apart. “I want to help the community any way I can.”
