I believe there is a paradox in life,” observes Gregg Hiller of Sundance Cleaning. “The more you serve others, the freer you become.”
Since founding Sundance Cleaning in 2018, Gregg has built a 20-person team around that philosophy, emphasizing service, balance, and a positive workplace culture. “We look forward to each day, and our people can make a good living and grow.”
That tone carries through the company’s work. Sundance’s website showcases crews on rooftops, climbing tall ladders, and carefully reaching difficult interior spaces. “Our crew stays busy and keeps our customers happy,” he says with a smile.
From its earliest days, when Gregg was “hauling my ladder on a bike rack on top of my Prius,” the company has grown into a year-round service operation. Today, Sundance handles gutter cleaning, window washing, power washing, holiday light installation, and even some seasonal snow removal across Park City. “Our clients are outgoing, friendly, generous—the kind of people Park City attracts,” he says. “And we get to work outdoors in one of the most beautiful places there is.”
A father of four, Hiller took a late-career leap to pursue entrepreneurship. He and his wife Kim worked secure, high paying corporate jobs in Denver while dreaming of PC. When Kim accepted a local job offer, the door to Park City was suddenly open. Gregg followed, at first driving ski vans, buses, and even dump trucks, before launching Sundance. “I started at age fifty when I was pretty out of shape. I got stronger in body and mind, and I never let go of my dream to build something that would last.”
Gregg credits Park City’s instinctive support for small business—and his team—for the company’s success, including General Manager Natalie Hausinger. “She brings Alaska grit and lives our company values. I’m lucky to have her and everyone on the team.”
